Which model Polaris?

Hi all,

My builder includes the model 280. I'm wondering if it's worth me paying the extra to upgrade. Question is what model is good and what is too much?

I have a beach entry with 8' depth. 2 steps. Not sure what additional information you need to help.

Can you ditch the Polaris (get credit for it) and go for a robot instead? Works far better and doesn't require a booster pump.

I have gotten to the point where I think robots are going to be the norm. They far out perform other pressure side cleaners and require nothing more than an outlet to plug them in, so are cheaper to run as they save electricity, as well as the cost of booster pumps and extra plumbing lines.

I love my Dolphin Discovery by Maytronics.

What Maddie said . You and I have the same sweeper. I'm looking at the same robot maddie has too! For $650 its hard to beat. If you keep the Polaris, get the sand and silt bag as it works much better than the large debris bag the sweeper comes with. The 280 does a great job at picking stuff up but it does not scrub anything.
