Is there a recommended place to buy a replacement 8mm normally closed magnetic sensor for a pool cover?

We have two sensors on the pool (open and close) to detect magnets inserted into the cover material. If the magnet is detected then power is cut off to that circuit of the motor (can’t open any further or can’t close any further).

Last year when the pool wouldn’t open we had to pay the company that installed the motor to come out and fix it since we didn’t know how it worked. They charged us $350 to replace what looks like a $5 part, but online the sensors are selling for $60+?

It seems to be a simple two wire 8mm dc magnetic switch, normally closed, that when it detects a magnet should open the circuit to cut power. For now I just bypassed the sensor by wiring the existing inbound and outbound leads together and the motor operates as expected (albeit without an auto stop).

Anyone have a recommendation on this? I’m checking amazon but I’m unsure if an inductive sensor is the same as a magnetic sensor.

Hi - I need the Dual Output Hall Effect sensor. PCS Part #HE1000 It is $120online which seems nutty, but I don't see one available for less than $95. Anyone have another solution? I'm thinking about just installing a Single Hall Effect or the Reed sensor TaylorN recommended above (for $5-$10) and just wire the cover to auto stop upon opening. Another thought is to do that, then also get another alone with some low voltage wire and another magnet and install a "Close stop" on the other side. Thank you.
