Hi, brand new here! My lawn guys cracked the plastic on my check valve to my hot tub and Pinch a Penny sold me a Pentair that seems a little too long to fit in as the replacement (for $100 - yikes). How do I identify the replacement? I've attached some pics of the one I want to replace. Thanks for any help!

That appears to be a Jandy check valve. If the body is good, you can purchase that whole assembly. For the most part they are not interchangeable across brands. This CMP replacement works well and is very much less expensive. I have used them.

FWIW, The markings are different than my genuine Jandy/Zodiac, but I guess it could be a non-Jandy replacement.

Best I can tell is CMP Hydroseal. Maybe the bodies are the same?

OP, what brand are your diverter valves.

I think you nailed it, I didn't even think of looking behind (was quite a chore, it's a weird position). I found p/n 25830-714-000 so I should be able to buy this and just use the guts right?

Is there any writing on the actual valve anywhere including on the bottom of the valve?

Do you have a picture of the body?
Just posted pics of the back, found p/n 25830-714-000 but here is a pic of body as well. Thanks for all the help!

CMP Hydroseal looks correct.

White pin for flapper where Jandy uses a SS pin.

Flow Arrow in center with no other writing.

When reinstalling the screws, make sure not to cross-thread the screws as that will strip the plastic threads.

To get the screw into the original threads, slowly turn the screw counterclockwise with light pressure until you feel the screw set into the original threads and then go clockwise.
