Wet Edge Satin vs. Signature

Hi all! Our builder originally only offered us only Satin options which appears to have been discontinued sometime in the past 7 years. When I went to Wet Edge’s website we learned about Signature.

We are really looking for a smoother option but can’t afford Primera stone.

My questions are 1) should I be concerned at all that they only offered us a discontinued line and 2) is there a noticeable texture difference between the lines?

Products get phased out over time but are still good products. They are just selling old inventory but so long as you still get the warranty then it should be fine. I have Primera Stone so not able to compare it to Signature. Signature seems to be the product that replaced Satin The Wet Edge website discusses Prism, Signature and Serenity products that have slight differences in size of pebbles used. All appear to have the same warranty.
I would call Wet Edge and ask them 3 questions
Why did Signature replace Satin?
Is your contractor an approved installed of Wet Edge products?
Why is your contractor offering Satin and not Signature?

It was some 7 years ago but I do remember calling Wet Edge to ask about my contractor. I was pretty set on Primera at that time so there was no discussion on other products.
