The Wet Edge website (Wet Edge | Product Gallery) for the Primera Stone finishes describes most of the finishes having a “mix of ocean shells” or a “generous amount of ocean shells”. The website also has a the disclaimer “Some Wet Edge finishes containing a unique composition of ocean shells that are not guaranteed against long-term breakdown or loss of color due to pool water chemistry. To date, we have had zero complaints about shell loss.”

Please share your experience with Primera Stone finish and any associated ocean shell breakdown or loss.

Please share your experience with any other finish that includes ocean shells.

Thanks,
Charlie

I have another brand with blue beads and a spattering of abalone shell added. The beads are nice and shiny, but all the "sparkle" happens off the shells. I would not want too much in the mix, though. Ocean shells is a big universe of shells, it's usually stated abalone, so maybe ask what you get and how much in mix.

We used Primera Stone in sapphire treasure last year. The finish and color are beautiful!! It’s only been a year but you can really see the shells. We get so many compliments on this finish.
