Hi

There is a commercial pool with a water slide. The water slide gets turned on and off which diverts the water from the pool to the slide-the pump that turns on for the water slide is in the photo.

Currently, there seems to be too much water coming down the slide, meaning we lose lots of water over the sides each time a person slides down.

How would I reduce the water going down the slide-would it be by the two large valves or should it be by the control unit that turns the slide on or off- photo attached

You really need to talk to the builder about how to operate the pool and equipment.

There is no way we can tell how to operate everything from three blurry pictures.

It looks like you have a ACQ550 adjustable frequency drive with a ACQ-CP-AQ drive control panel.

I suspect that you can control the pump speed with the controller.

However, for a commercial pool, you really need a local expert to show you how to operate everything safely.

This is way beyond our ability to help you with specific instructions.

The best we can do is to try to help you understand some of what you have so that you can have a more informed discussion with a qualified local expert.

One of the best jokes I ever had was in a 40x40 ft or so unmanned water authority building. It was a cinderblock building with nothing but 2ft and 3ft wide pipes and some commercial pumps. Like the pic in that thread but bigger/more. I was there getting their alarm lines back up and I asked the employee who came to let me in why they needed alarms and he said the pipes may burst if there was a fire.

Yeah man. That's my point. Problem solved.

He wasn't the brightest and did get it. Totally wasted the joke. :(
