After seeing them at the beach several time, I'm ready to buy some of those soft-ish balls that you throw and they bounce across the water surface of a pool or ocean.

I want a ball or two: Pool use 20-30 feet & open water/beach

According to what I'm reading on amazon smile (purchases support TFP):
Waboba Pro - heavier design for open waters and one handed catches, more control & accuracy for sportier play
Waboba Blast - designed for use in pools (but some reviews seem to say inferior to Pro in pools?)
Waboba Surf - softer and designed for beginners in open waters
Waboba SOL - larger, almost softball sized model, softer and less painful if hit by it?
Waboba Big Kahuna - larger, but despite the name, only roughly baseball sized, softer and less painful if hit by it?
Waboba Extreme - skips further?
Wave Runner 6.0 - not many reviews, but also looks promising
Balls that people buy at local beach pharmacy stores/megamarts - some of the reviews say these online balls are inferior
There's also Waboba Zag (textured?), vibe (pretty?), and dog ball. I don't think I care about those, but let me know if I do.

Anyone have any of these? Suggestions for 20-30 ft pool use and/or open water use?

I'm looking for it to go pretty much where you aim it, be easy to skip after a couple minutes, and be no harder than necessary while still totally being able to be thrown and caught one-handed.

Thanks!

We've used Waboba Pro, because that's what Ron Jon Cocoa Beach had in a bucket by the counter! That said, it's held up well over numerous trips to the beach. It did burst a seam at some point though and we bought another of the same kind.
