Wago Wire Connectors

Hello all, and happy new year! I will be doing some electrical work in my Compool to Easy Touch enclosure. I was going to use wire nuts as usual, but happened to run across the Wago wire connectors on a U-tube video. These connectors appear to be much easier to use than wire nuts and have good ratings on Amazon.

I was wondering if any of you have used these in an outdoor enclosure and if you have had any issues with corrosion.

Thanks for any input.

Gary

I use them in all my new wiring at my new (to us- Built in 1972) house. I have the two, three and five wire versions.

I've had experience with them at work in some of the industrial equipment my previous employer had. Just try to use the same number of openings as you have wires for. I suppose a loose wire could get inside an open slot...

On the back of the connector they show how much to strip the wire, it’s not much. Shared some pics of recent work. The one switch will get completely redone down the road so left the old wire nuts where they were.

The Wago lever nuts are awesome. I had seen them used at work some time ago, and I picked them up to rework my pool panel last year. So much cleaner than traditional wire nuts. I am not sure I will use traditional wire nuts ever again.
