Vacuum head - is it time to replace

Hey York !!! I’m kinda torn with this suggestion if that head worked well for you. No 2 heads work the same in most pools so I’d usually advise to stick with what you know works.

But at the same time I had the triangle head with the bristles and I almost never need to brush because the weekly vac killed both birds with one stone.

It’s worth thinking about trying the bristle head at least. :)

York, It sure looks like its time :)
Thanks, I probably should have retired it last year, I just was not sure evaluate the head. it slowly just keep picking up less and less so it was not so noticeable until we had a recent sand storm. Just ordered a new one and it arrives tomorrow, maybe we'll have another windy night so I can test the new head :)

Thanks, I had checked those out awhile when we started managing our pool. They were much smaller than the 19" one. I thought it would take much longer to get the job done. What model is yours and does yours have wheels?

Pretty sure it's just 2 sizes made by several companies. One smaller one basically for Above Grounds and one is a larger one for IG. (Still smaller than your 19 inch). I had the bigger Hayward one. It was a triangle of bristles with no wheels.
