Using Easy Set Pump for Water Slide

Hi all,
I have an AGP with a small slide put on for my kids. I want to keep the slide wet when the kids are using it and thought of plumbing in lines from my primary return line but instead I'm considering getting a pump from one of the easy set type pools and using that instead. Question is will that type of pump actually suck water up from the pool to the slide or are those pumps getting their intake purely based on the force of gravity?

Thanks!

They are not self priming, so they must be lower than the water level in order to start pumping. But once primed, it should have no trouble pumping water to the top of a slide.

With your AGP, as long as you keep the pump on the ground and run a hose to the top of the slide, it should work fine.
