Unable to log into Hayward omnilogic "The transaction log for database 'NextGen' is full."

Since today we are unable to log into the Hayward omnilogic system.

On the web browser I get the following error: "The transaction log for database 'NextGen' is full. To find out why space in the log cannot be reused, see the log_reuse_wait_desc column in sys.databases"

On the android app we get "An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again later"

What I have done:
1. I contacted Hayward support to see what they have to say, have not heard back yet.
2. I attempted to clear the log via the panel outside but it doesn't seem to respond when I press "clear log"
3. Verified that the control panel is connected to my WiFi and performed their diagnostic test.

Some additional thoughts.

1. When reading through the log on the control panel screen it does appear to have some errors in the log, it could be possible that the system.log is funn on the unit. I have no idea how to "clear" the log.
2. Could rebooting the system flush the system log? I know on some computers logs are temporary and are cleaned on reset. We have not powered down the unit since we built our pool (~filled in Jan 2021).
3. I see options for the Chlorinator and PH unit in my web interface (when I can login) even though we do not have these units on our system.
4. I saw on some hayward units there is a shell, I did not see this in the service mode or in my settings. Was thinking maybe there were some commands I could execute to gather more info.

Any thoughts or advice welcome.

This is a problem on Hayward's end. I'm having the same issues and it started this morning.

It's pretty embarrassing for them to have an error displayed on their login screen that basically means they are running out of storage space. Total IT infrastructure support failure - this should never happen in a properly managed production environment!

Oddly enough the app was working on my Wife's phone until about an hour ago. Maybe some sort of caching.

Do you know if there is a way to connect to it directly via IP?

I haven't looked into it much, but there does appear to be an API that other automation systems use. I'm not sure if they are connecting directly to the OmniLogic or going through Hayward's cloud servers.

For instance, this one at Hayward Omnilogic - Bindings uses Hayward's cloud service.

And this one at omnilogic also looks like it would use the cloud servers.

And finally here Hayward Omnilogic? someone asks if integration would be similar to the Aqualogic but a response says this:
No it’s not simliar. At a glance, the Aqualogic uses an RS-485 protocol. Omnilogic uses http post commands to the cloud server which in turn communicates with the Omnilogic controller. Basically you need to impersonate the Hayward Omnilogic mobile application communications to the cloud server.
So it looks like OmniLogic was designed to always communicate back to the cloud servers. Hopefully, Hayward sticks around for a while and doesn't decide to shut down their service for something new. I don't really see that happening in the foreseeable future as they are one of the biggest players in the pool automation industry.

I asked support for a post mortem for the server outage yesterday. Would be curious to see what happened. Error points to DB issues but still seems like a big oversight..
