Tristar pump VS pump differences

Hi all, I was hoping some of your experts here could help me. What is the difference between Tristar 2.7HP VS 950 model SP32950VSP and Tristar 2.7HP VS model W3SP3206VSP ? From what I can tell it seems the 950 model is something only pool professionals can buy but is exactly the same as the W3SP320VSP that any consumer can purchase.

Gotcha but essentially the same "pump"? How about compared to the Tristar VS 950 Omni (aside from the attached automation) is the pump and etc the same?

Pretty much. Get the parts breakdown for each pump and compare the part numbers. You will find lots of commonality.

It's basically the exact same pump. The only difference is the seal is an upgraded seal and a 4 year warranty vs. a 1 year warranty.

They should be using the better seal in both pumps, in my opinion.
