Hi Everyone. I was wondering if anyone has had success using something like "Out Spot" by Purity Pools in order to place muriatic acid on a iron stain at the bottom of the pool. I currently have a Jandy Stain remover tool but I can't seem to get it to flow well out of the bottle into the tubing to get the muriatic acid in the right spot. Thanks

You want to use something like ascorbic acid not muriatic. Try putting a bunch of vitamin c tablets in a thin sock or nylon. Attach to your pool brush and rub that on the stain.
You can also use this type of applicator to apply the ascorbic acid. This worked well for several small rust stains on the bottom of our pool.

Good luck.

How would you apply to ascorbic acid to the spot remover? Crush the Vit C and add water then place in the container?
