We have gone to Leslie pool supply to ask about our pool water we just couldn't get right and they told us to put 4lbs of baking soda in our 12x30 above ground pool that only holds 1718 gallons of water. Well, once we did that, we have had foam for over a month every time we turn on the pump. Then we were told to use Clear Aid, didn't work. Shocked it and it didn't work. We are missing out on using our pool for the summer because we can't find anyone to tell us how to get rid of the foam. We emptied it half way as well and that didn't work. PLEASE HELP, ANYONE!!!

Welcome to TFP! A pool that size you should just dump the water, start over, and follow the guide below. This is just one of those lessons to stay out of the pool store and avoid their advice. Read our Pool Care Basics for great info.
