Timer toggle switch has quit working

So I have begun to have a problem with my toggle switch on my Intex Sand Filter, it started by not being able to turn the pump on with the switch, it was like it was stuck and it sounded like it had sand in the switch (gritty), finally applied slight pressure to get the switch to turn on, had been working fine all summer and now I find that when I go out the pump is off and the switch is in the on position, if I press hard enough it will come on but the minute I remove my finger from the switch it quits working. It does this in any position it is in, I had to fiddle with it last night to get it to turn on, I almost had it in the off position, but it did stay on, but sometime during the night it turned off again. Any suggestions on where to get a new switch, I have looked on the Intex site and nothing, or if there is another problem? I can't even find anything on how to remove the switch, I have the top off where the switch is but I am a little afraid to pry it out (don't want to damage anything).

The main trick is going to make sure it's water tight. I'm guessing it's an above ground and this switch is with the equipment next to the pool ??
Can you post the model number of the unit. Maybe one of us can find something on it.

Please make sure it's unplugged before you do anything on it and any repair done to it keeps the pool users safe.
