Time after adding bleach to swim?

Hi there. Newbie question for everyone. How long do we need to wait after adding bleach to the pool to swim? I have been putting 24 oz of 12.5% bleach in every night for about 1ppm. Tonight my wife wants to go for an evening swim. Can i put it in now and it be ok to swim in an hour or two?

24k gallon concrete pool. 1 hp pentair pump that is brand new and seems to circulate the water really well.

Hi Trivetman,

I think 30 minutes should be long enough, especially if your chemicals are balanced and your FC is in line with the target for your CYA.

Do you pour it in slowly in front of a return? That's what I do and I haven't had any trouble.
