Do any of the valve manufacturers make a 3 way diverter valve that would work as pictured below? I have modified a hayward to work this way to reduce the amount of air going into my spa from the blower (second pic) but for would like one that is comes "OEM" in this configuration for a vacuum to waste prior to my filter. This configuration woud mean only one cut between the filter and pump without additional fittings (see third pic with proposed location at red line).

Other suggestions are definitely welcome.

I only have experience with Jandy branded valves, but I think other brands are similar.
On the Jandy valve, there is the word "INLET" on the valve lid. You remove the 8 screws, remove the lid and rotate until the word "INLET" is on the desired port.

When setting up the three way valves used in normal pool plumbing, "INLET" should ALWAYS be the port closest to the pool pump. This prevents deadheading the pump.

On the Haywards, the cover is keyed to a specific position. Ill have to look into the jandy valves and see what they have.

Is the the style of valves you have? From the manual for Hayward PSV valves:

"Any port can be plumbed as inlet. See diagrams of possible combinations and instructions for setting valve indexing disk on page 6. Labels have been provided for marking of ports."

It looks like your valves have a blue tab on the indexing disc.

Interesting, for some reason that didn't work with the air blower valve. I may try again with another Hayward and see of i can get this work. . Thanks!
