The pump is running, water is not moving. Does not seem like the impeller moves. Just found it before heading to work, so I did not have a chance to explore more. The pump is on and it seems like the motor is working, making a humming noise and slightly heated. The water in the chamber is not moving. What is my next troubleshooting step? The pump was ok for three years or so with no issues. It's a super-flow Heyward pump.

Did you check the returns in the pool? You do not always see water movement under the pump basket lid.

I opened the basket lid and put the pump on, no water movement. Tried to spin the impeller by hand for a brief amount of time with no luck. Not sure what force I had to apply but pretty sure I couldn't move it freely. Had to leave so didn't try to use a screwdriver or else to spin it.

Pull power, remove strainer basket, reach in and see if impeller turns freely.

The update. Took the back cover, shaft spins as it should. Took the housing apart and I see impeller cracked where it’s connected to the motor shaft. On a picture is the part of impeller on a shaft.
