Hi! Can someone give me the overview on partnership with Marina? I need to buy a replacement power supply from them and I thought I remembered a discount code if I support TFP. Is it a certain discount for certain support levels here? Thanks! I also just ordered a pro testing kit yesterday so maybe I blew it and should have sponsored first for a discount on that item too?

Hello, I am a recent Bronze supporter, and trying to place an order at Marina Pools for a Evo614iq cleaner + an extra filter, I have the code for them that I was provided for supporting the forum, but it keeps saying it cannot apply to this order. This is an Evo cleaner, not matronics, so not sure why the 10% would not be valid. Is that something a forum mod can help me with? or contact them through e-mail directly?

Trouble Free Pool doesn’t have access to Marina Pool’s system and can’t control which items their discount codes apply to. Odds are, the cleaner just needs to be added to their list of eligible products on their end.
Your best bet is to reach out to Marina Pools directly and let them know you’re a TFP supporter and the code isn’t working for that item. They should be able to get it sorted for you.

The deal is the tfp code for discounts does not apply to ANY pool cleaners or pool cleaner accessories. So that is why they cannot honor it.
We should update the forum supporter benefits to reflect that. I still bought the cleaner and filter because I want to replace my cleaner, but to be frank the reason I became a bronze supporter was motivated by the discount I thought I would get based on the description(I just signed up yesterday).
So not sure who updates that text, but it should not just reflect maytronics cleaners, but instead all cleaners and all accessories to cleaners, which knocks out a huge segment of products.

Internet pricing is tough, feels like a race to the bottom always, and coupon codes can push deals into the red which is really no good long term for either side.

Yeah. IMO having it be dissected by many real world members going on 3 seasons with.... is priceless.
I don't know everybody who reported, some of them were even new to TFP, but i know that they weren't a copy/paste from another cleaner or bot review like might be elsewhere off forum.

And now that you point it out, it seems like there's been a dozen startups trying to get into the game the last couple of years. Things were simpler when there was 3 dolphins and everything else was a different color one of those 3 dolphins.
