Taping XPS foam

What is the consensus on taping 1" XPS foam (using wide Gorilla tape)? I'll be putting in a 15 x 48 Intex prism frame pool.

1. Single seam tape on one side.
2. Single seam tape on both sides.
3, Triple tape seams on one side.

I tripled taped on one side.

I used the wide tape and just did a single tape seam. Only on one side.

I used plain duct tape, single layer on top of 1/2" xps board. It has been a month and you cannot see or feel the joints. My thought was, under a 4' deep pool there is almost 8,000 lbs of water on a 4x8 sheet, if the boards are going to move/separate it will be while you are erecting the pool which you primarily do from the outside.

I just did the same last week. I used Tyvek tape, triple taped top side only.
