Good morning. I'm weighing our options on if and when to take down our pool for some base/foundation repair to correct our slightly bowing walls. This is our first year setup and with our groundwork prep from last fall/spring our pool has settled and pushed the walls out probably two to three inches from square. We knew this would occur as we had to till most of our yard to get the entire grade fixed. So my consideration is do we take the pool down this fall and try to store it in our garage and not have to deal with the spring cleanup of an algae bloom/pond or leave it up and get a pool cover and have to deal with the cleaning in the spring. I'm contemplating if I will have to take down the entire pool to do our foundation repair, or if I can I would like to just drain enough to be able to fold the legs in (I'm assuming draining it it about 2" deep) and do the repair around the outside by removing the surrounding pavers and either adding more compacted sand base or possibly replacing it with papers that can support the load of the legs. The floor of our pool is level and has no wrinkles so that is a pro for keeping it up but if we take it down it'll stay cleaner but the chance of damage to either the frame or the liner is likely higher. Thoughts?
