We opened our pool and things have been going well. Wife noticed today that our daughter's swimsuit had yellowing.

First google response blames the chrlorine.
I'm running CYA of about 90 in a salt water pool. My chlorine was 14 this morning when I checked it which is higher than my target of 10. (I left the SWG running at 100% overnight to get caught back up).
My thought was that generally that level of chlorine should not fade swimsuits, and I have no idea why it might yellow.

Thoughts?

We were swimming at an RV park last week and my suit is turning yellow and we saw a few young girls who hair was starting to turn green. Guess they are either using a mineral system (which TFP does not recommend) or adding copper-based algaecide.

As said above, it is not chlorine causing the yellowing it. It is either iron or maybe copper in the water.

Is it yellowing only near the sleeves, collar, and around the legs? Many spray on sunscreens can cause yellowing when they come into contact with fabrics. I've learned this the hard way on a few favorite shirts when applying sunscreen.
