Stripped Loop Loc Bolt

I removed my cover this weekend. I have one Loop Loc bolt that has a stripped hex and will not budge in the anchor. I put WD40 on it and tried turning it with pliers, etc, but no luck. Does anyone know what size easy out extractor to use? ...... or any other method to remove the bolt from the anchor? I've looked through past threads, but they mostly deal with removing the anchor.

That anchor probably needs to be replaced.

If yours has a slot across it like mine does, put a chisel in the slot and use a vice-grip on the chisel. I have had to do that in the past and then get a new anchor screw. The insert maybe fine.

If the chisel does not work, use the easy out. Take one of your anchors with you to the hardware store for sizing.

If you do not have a vice-grip put a socket on the end of the chisel. Then you can lean into it with the ratchet.
