Store chlorine tablets vs. Pool store tablets

Is there any difference between the Walmart or HomeDepot chlorine tablets vs. any pool store tablets such as Leslie's?

Assuming you mean Trichlor tablets, no. Except some can have copper in them or other additives that are harmful to your pool water chemistry. Most any product with the word Blue in its name has copper in it.

You should rarely need trichlor. I get a 5 lb container of them and last me several years. Only use them to control pH on longer vacations.

I haven't bought any this year but we are going on vacations this summer and wanted to go ahead and buy some. I usually get them from Leslie's.
