Stamped concrete powder release in pool

So we just had a stamped concrete deck poured around our pool. The "contractor" paid no mind when throwing out the powder release onto the concrete and quite a lot of it ended up in the pool. It floated on the top for a while and then mixed into the water. The pool is very cloudy. We have a cartridge filter and after a couple hours, I ended up cleaning the grids as they were almost black. It's been running for another day but still very cloudy. Is there any sort of chemical that I can use to help clear this up, or will I just have to wait it out for all of it to collect on the filter grids (and probably clean them another handful of times)?

Yeah that's all you can do. I had the same problem when they did ours. Vacuum a few times and then clean the filter once it clears up. I have a cartridge filter and had to vacuum and then clean the filter and then vacuum some more because it was so bad. We have a stamped border and it's brushed outside the border and they were dipping their brushes in the pool while brushing the rest.
