Stain removal?

We moved into our house a little over a year ago, and I noticed some stains on the bottom of the pool that look like they were caused by leaves sitting on the bottom over winter while the pool was closed.

This year there seems to be more staining up along the sides of the pool too.

When I brush, some dust is loosened from the gunite but the stains remain. When I first opened I had a lot of liquid chlorine in the pool to get the green away, and I'm not having any overnight chlorine loss at this point, so it doesn't seem like algae but I'd like it to go away.

Is this just part of aging plaster or is there something I can do?

Great place to start...

Here's my numbers from this morning before adding what was needed.

Been working to get TA down over the last couple weeks. It was high around 150 when I opened.

Also working to get CYA up. Got a sock in the skimmer as we speak.

I'll start testing the stains from the blog post hopefully soon when I get some free time.
