My RS6 control panel backlight has been flickering for a couple of weeks. 2 days ago the control panel went to all LEDs on and s/w info displayed on screen. It would not respond to buttons being pushed. Went outside to main power center for pool, shut off all power for a few mins. Turned power back on and inside controller was back to working but backlight was still flickering.
Next day, inside controller was back to all LEDs on and s/w info displayed. Tried reset button on inside control panel, but didn't appear to do anything.
Shut off pool power overnight. This morn I powered back up and it's still turning on all LEDs and showing s/w info. Backlight not really flickering but does turn on and off randomly. Went back to outside control panel and disconnected the spa side remote since it's been replaced numerous time over the 15 years we've lived here. Inside control panel is now working perfectly. No backlight flickering at all.
These spa side controllers are expensive, getting hard to find and only last a season or 2. Is there another option for SPA side control short of replacing the entire control system?
