Have read some posts on spa filter cleaners and wondering about which to use.
Also wondering which Ahh!some, the one I have appears to be different than the one marked with “filter cleaner”, see pics. The first pic, with brown tarp behind it is the Ahh!some I have and did purge with.

I have a relatively new acrylic hot tub, we’ve had a lot of use and filter probably needs to be soaked.

Current water values:
FC - 3
PH - 7.2
TA - 50
CH - 150
CYA - 30

Did a double Ahh!some purge when hot tub arrived. Used dichlor/bleach method to get to cya up and now use liquid bleach. Hot tub is acrylic and came with built in ozonator. Also getting a lot of foam and not sure why.

I realize this ship has sailed but for future reference …
You can simply throw your filters into the tub when purging the tub with the Ahhsome tub cleaner and rinse them afterwards. This is all i use to clean mine. Inbetween purges they just get rinsed.
For right now you can simply dilute some of the Ahhsome tub cleaner you already own in a bucket/container & soak the filters in it then rinse them well. It won’t take much. I’m talking a smidgen.
You can certainly also use tsp but I wouldn’t run out & buy it just for that.
I have also in the past used diluted simple green pro D (this is different than plain simple green although I have heard of others using this & other degreasers)
But It can be sudsy & take alot of rinsing.
The bottom pic is a separate ahhsome product specifically for filters. While similar to the tub purge product I suspect it has a different concentration.
I have no experience with that particular leisure time product.
