Softub Letter P....cycles on and off

So I read about adding capacitors to the circuit board...I think I did it right but not sure...Is anyone able to help...how hard do you push them in (the black and red)...

also...if you have done this before..do you mind connecting as this is driving me nuts.

Softub motor cycling on and off repeatedly

We have a 220 gallon Softub recently inherited from the previous owner of our house, and just got it set up and running. The motor is turning off and on frequently and we're looking for advice. The pump runs continuously as desired until the hot tub reaches the set temperature (100), after...

The leads should be touching wire or contacts securely enough that it wont vibrate free and fall off.

If you read the thread and felt like it was not in your wheelhouse, maybe you can upload a pic someplace and post a link to it?

Any/all electrical work should be avoided if you are in doubt or uncomfortable doing it. You might bolster knowledge and confidence watching son YouTube vids on electrical work?

thanks...A question - when you put the 2 capacitors in...and then plug the motor on...does the letter P still show? mine is...

It's difficult to tell from the pic, but it looks installed backwards. Negative goes to black almost 1000% sure. The other lead to "a more positive voltage" but I don't own one of these tubs so not sure where it hooks up. I'm pretty sure the linked thred had that info...
