I am feeling colossally violent and financially violated! ok so we bought our $699 52x24 intex 2 springs ago. its been well cared for. emptied it for a hose down scrub and refill, well emptied it then went to refill and adjust the metal sides and all the sudden the bottom seam-to-wall starts falling apart :grrrr: is Coleman and Intex the same? is there other companies liners that are better and will fit my frame?

Ouch...I would still contact the company and complain...nothing to loose and at the least you may get a replacement for a much better price.
I know this doesn’t really help, but so many of us have used our Intex pools for years before having to replace them. If I were in your shoes i’d be really ticked off, but I probably would go ahead and replace it and see how the new one works.
