Shade structure over pool

Hello,

I'm in the process of designing a pool in Florida. I'd like some sort of shade structure to cover the pool. Ideally, something retractable that could extend from our roof to cover the pool (instead of a freestanding structure). It would need to be large - a 30' projection spanning around 85' in width.

Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions?

A full bird cage type enclosure might be a better option.
It will keep out a bit of the sun (based on the screening material) and most all the bugs as well.

30’ projection is pretty far. You’ll end up needing some kind of structure on the ground at some point.
