Long story short I looked at the quantity instead of the recommendation and dumped the entire quart of Clorox super blue clarifier into the pool last night. Realized my mistake as I was walking back into the house.

What do I need to do?

If yours is a cartridge filter, order a new cartridge now.

I'd just keep maintaining the chemistry and vacuum and brush as usual. When the filter pressure rises 20%, either replace the element or backwash and then do a thorough cleaning depending on filter style. Can;t be more specific because you haven't finished telling us about your equipment.

I'd also order a proper test kit. Cloudy water is usually a symptom of a bigger problem that clarifier won't fix. 12,000 gallons is no kiddie pool. You need a grownup test kit.

Many thanks. Was worried about some toxicity level occurring.
Agree about the test kit.
Tried two cheap brands already and results are uselessly inconsistent.

When I can give good numbers I will check back.
Thanks again!
