I have a 24' Discovery 100% resin above ground pool that I'm looking into upgrading to salt. Anyone have any recommendations on a reasonable priced user friendly salt water system that would be a good choice?
For the price, not sure you can beat the Intex version. The larger version is for pools up to 15,000 gallons. All you would need is 2 Intex Hose Adapter A with Collar to make it work with any 1.5" hose.
If you are looking for something more permanent the Circupool or Aquarite are good ones. Get a cell rated 2-3x your pool size so you don't have to run your pump 23x7 to make chlorine.
Nice. Yes, plenty of folks chlorinating with the intex SWG. It works well but only lasts 2 or 3 seasons usually. You can also find them cheap on close out at big box stores like Target and Academy at the end of the season.
Absolutely. That's where I got my pool, INTEX sand filter and pump, and SWG last fall. Saved almost $400 off them combined vs what they are selling for in May or June.
