Salt Water Conversion

I am thinking about converting our pool to salt water. It is 35,000 gallons. The issue is it is kind of a tight space and I’m wondering if I can do it myself. What generator should I be looking at for this size and is it something a mediocre handyman could do? I have attached a picture of the current set up. Thanks.

You need at least a 60K cell for that pool. Do you have automation? Best to go with a 60K cell from your brand of automation.

If you don't have automation, Circupool makes 60Ks. I installed the RJ-60+. Nice thing is you can do vertical installation for tight spaces...

N,

If you have ever connected two pieces of PVC pipe together with PVC glue, then you can do this. :goodjob:

That said, the cell has to go just before your return valve and we can't see it in your pic. Show us where the water goes after it leaves the heater.

Thanks,

Jim R.
