Salt Generation Keeps Stopping

So I go outside and find my pool turning green. On the Aqua Rite panel, it has the check salt and inspect cell lights on solid and the generating light out. I inspected the cell, it was seemed fine but I couldn't get it to produce salt. I spent $650 on a replacement hoping that would do it but no joy. Now I can get it to generate salt for about 30 seconds but then it drops off. I took a quick video of it. So I am pretty sure I wasted my money buying a new T-cell but any ideas on what actually is the problem?

For AquaRite, move the switch from auto to off and check all of the readings.

Move the switch back to auto and recheck the readings.

Move the switch to off for a minute and then back to auto and recheck the readings.

Report all readings.

What are the first seven characters of the cell and box serial numbers?

What is the actual salinity and how are you measuring it?

What is the T-cell size?

Is the T-cell size set correctly in settings?

To get the performance percentage of the cell, divide the instant salinity reading by the actual salinity reading.

You need to be really sure about the actual salinity reading.

You need to use a K-1766 salt test kit or a calibrated meter.

Hey James. Thanks for the help. Here are the readings:

What are the first seven characters of the cell and box serial numbers?

TCELL940SWP - 4E20297

What is the actual salinity and how are you measuring it?
About 1000. I used some Taylor test strips.

What is the T-cell size?

Is the T-cell size set correctly in settings?
yes

You are currently set to metric. You can change back to standard units as shown in the video.

It looks like the salinity is just low.

The box is reading 2.1 grams per liter, which will change to 2,100 ppm when you change the setting back to standard units.

Increase the salinity by about 1,000 ppm and then recheck everything.

Turn off the box and add the salt. Wait 24 hours to mix well. Brush the pool thoroughly 3X.

It may have been a typo, but the salt water chlorine generator creates chlorine from the salt you put in the water. If it doesnt have enoigh salt, it wont generate any chlorine. Sorry if that sounds obvious but I've known a few people who had no idea how that worked and figured I'd at least double check.
