My PB opened my pool today and left 4 bags of salt. He asked me to wait until next cleanup to add the salt. The problem is water is dripped from the bottom of one bag. The wood floor in my shed is covered by water just after a few hours. So what should I do? Can I add the salt now even the pool is completely green now? Or any way I can do to stop the water leaking from salt bag? Thanks.

Got a wheel barrel or something you can toss that salt bag into? How about a hefty trash bag?

Yes, I put the bag on top of 5 gal homedepot bucket. After 2 hours, it is about 2 in on the bottom right. Just feel so strange where water comes from.
so another question is can I just add the salt in before the pool is cleared up. I don't see why not, but PB asked me to wait.

I'm confused. There's no water in bags of salt, so where's the water coming from?
Edit: I can't think of any reason you can't add salt now, but the fact that there's water coming from it makes me wonder if it's contaminated in some way.

The salt is absorbing water from the air and once it absorbs enough it will turn to a liquid. Salt should be stored in a low humidity dry place. Or in a very well sealed container.
