Safety Cover - Can I use a Rectangle cover for an oval pool with deck?

Hello, I have an 18X33 with 3 1/2 foot instep oval above ground pool that is surrounded by a deck. As long as I get a large enough size...can I use a rectangle safety cover for my oval pool?

My instep is off center (don't ask, it was a miricle that the pool even got installed)...so, I know I need to have the cover 36' long.

I don't see why not. So long as as it is all covered with plenty left over to secure it. An oval is really like a rounded rectangle so.........
