Rubaroc pool deck covering

Anyone ever use the ruberroc or recycled rubber to cover old concrete. The skirt around my pool is solid but it's 40 years old and rough on our feet. Don't want to try to skim coat it or rip it out just wondering if anyone has used the rubaroc covering..

There is a park near us that has a rubber surface like that in a water sprinkler play area. It is pretty nice and has held up for several years or more. Lots of kids running around on that all summer.

I've seen it. I didn't like it that much, but mostly a personal preference.

Good application is critical. A poor job will be a bad surface. Getting the application exactly right is important to a long lasting, durable and comfortable surface.

Why not power wash the concrete and stain it? That's what I did.

The concrete has lost its top coat and is very tough on our feet
