Rhino Pad vs. Armor Shield vs. Gorilla vs. Others

We are looking at liner pads to put under our new 30' round pool to be installed next month. I'm kind of leaning towards the Rhino pad, but have seen pros and cons of it along with the Armor Shield, Gorilla, Liner Life, etc. Anyone have any experience with the Rhino pad? It says to lay this down on top of the sand before the cove, but our installer says he doesn't like using the foam cove because he's seen too many eaten away by insects. They will be building the cove from sand which means the pad will most likely be laying on top of the cove. Is this ok? Is there a better brand out there?

I have a Rhino Pad, and I'm satisfied with it. I think they're pretty much all the same, it's just the thickness that varies.

I would worry about wrinkles in the pad from going up and over the cove instead of laying flat being an issue. Might cause wrinkles in your floor.

Maybe @kimkats or @Casey can give you some advice. Let's call them in.
