Retrofit wifi? Nordic hot tub (balboa)

I've got a Nordic Retreat MS, bit less than a year old. Under the covers it has a Balboa 55887-04 controller (aka NORVS300). Are there any reasonable options to make this work with WiFi without getting an entirely new spa pack? I see that Balboa makes a WiFi module (p/n 51159) but I'm not at all sure it's compatible with this controller I have.

What do you think? Implausible, too expensive, or this will actually work? Or something DIY or third party? I'm not sure how standardized these spa controllers are.

This board will be proprietary to nordic (NOR for nordic, vs300 for the base platform) and balboa cannot release info on it. You would have to ask nordic, who likely won't know unless they offer the option. But in all likelihood if it works with the vs300 platform it will work with this version.
