Hey guys I’m trying to fix this abandon 16x32 Grecian shaped pool we have a pool automation system that is probably 12 years old but was new when pool was closed. My question is, is it worth trying to fix if I’m working on diy friendly budget. Thanks will post pictures of pane.

The words budget friendly and pool are not normally in the same sentence.
You need to show us several pics of what you have, and tell us the rest of the story..
1. Do you know why the pool was abandoned?
2. Is it a gunite or liner pool?
3. Automation systems are not 'needed', they are just nice to have. I'd be more worried about getting the pool up and running first.
