Hey all!

I'm going to be replacing my SR Smith Frontier diving board with a TrueTread (also SR Smith). I will be keeping the same base, a Flyte Deck II. Anyone have any experience with doing this? Knock on wood, as long as the base looks okay, and I have no reason to think it wouldn't, it should be pretty straight forward, but never hurts to ask around :)

I know theres a lot of debate around diving boards. At our house, its just me and my husband. We have an 8ft board over 11 ft depth and really enjoy using it! When our Frontier board cracked at the end of last season, we did consider just removing the whole thing, but decided we both enjoyed it enough to replace it, even to upgrade. There was a slide, which we sold, but both love re-living our childhoods doing jumps and playing on the board. It was actually a pretty easy choice. Any other big kids out there with a diving board?

I removed mine last year due to rotting and am hoping tonreplace this year.

If the spring in your diving board is to your liking, stick with the same model. For some reason most replacement diving boards are less stiff than the original board especially if you're replacing a full width laminate board with a 2 x 1/3 width laminate board.

I actually could do with a little more bounce! Id be glad if it was a bit more flexible, which I'm thinking it will be.

🙋‍♂️ Am 47 and got it at both houses for me.

I mean. I'm happy when the kids enjoy it too. But I don't need them to be happy about it. :ROFLMAO:
Yay! Glad to hear, I love this! 😂

We don't have any kids and I often get asked "so why the pool?" And I'm like ... "Are adults not allowed to swim?"
