Replacing Diving Board

I'm looking for some assistance in replacing my diving board. I'm in central NJ and I've heard that according to regulations/codes, the only people that can replace my board would be the pool builder. Is this true? Are there any pros' here that would be interested?

Never heard such a thing. Who would catch you and turn you in? While it takes some skill to replace one it's not rocket science. Insurance companies hate them. And the main thing to worry about is rusted anchors. Theres alot of pullout force on the anchor bolts. They need to be solid amd in good shape or else new anchors installed

A concrete company gave me a ballpark figure of 1,500 - 2,500 to install the jig and pour concrete. This does not include cutting the existing concrete nor bonding. The pool company wants 2k for the diving board! Are these normal prices? I had to go to the mirror and check if I had dollar signs tattooed on my forehead!

How much do you need to replace?? Can a replacement board work?

If possible the cheap way is to find a new setup that can cover the old stuff amd re anchor with hilti bolts. If it's the old big base style then its hard to do anything other than cut amd replace. Post some pics of what you have there I can give better advice
