After many years with my inground pool, the rubber feet that protect the vinyl liner from the sharp metal edges of the pool ladder disappeared during my pool closing last fall. No idea why the people closing the pool would have taken them off, but nontheless, they are quite gone! I have never replaced this part. I ordered some replacement feet from Amazon, but once installed, they wobble more than I'm comfortable with. I'm concerned that they 'might' work loose and fall off during the season without my knowledge...clearly ruining my brand new liner.
The pool is old enough that I don't know the brand name of the original ladder. Is there a better source for universal replacements that will fit all ladders or would it be better to just replace the entire ladder? A new ladder appears to be quite a bit money, but still 1/8 the amount of a(nother) new liner.
Any thoughts? Even after all these years, this is the first significant maintenance I've ever had to do on the ladder. Thanks!
