Replacement Filter Cartridges Quality......Factory vs. Aftermarket

Hey guys,

My filter cartridges are looking pretty rough and need replacement. They are ~4yrs old.

I see there is a pretty big cost savings, maybe 40% or so, by going with an aftermarket filter set. Are the aftermarket cartridges a meaningful amount lesser quality?
