We have scratches on our travertine coping. I'm looking into the best approach to removing and repairing the scratches. I believe I will use a diamond 400 grit sand paper and hand sand each stone. After which I will clean and apply enhanced sealer. I was thinking of using a sander but worry I might do more damage then repair.

Some stones will need filling of holes etc. as well. This I've done in the past so I think I know what I'm doing on this.

If you had this issue, what have you done?
