Hi, first time building a pool here! We decided on a rectangular spa 9x6 with 3 sides of seating that would face toward the tv and lanai. It can certainly fit 6 adults comfortably but conferenced if you start adding kids during the cold months that it’s going to get cramped. Is it worth bumping out to 10’x 6’6”?I can’t go more than 6inches on the width because it will eat into my pool area. We are only using an electrical heater (the largest one out of what the builder was offering) for pool and spa.

6’ X 12’ seating on 3 sides, jets set up for 7 sitting positions with 15 total jets.
With one wall (12’) of the spa without a seat it gives room for smaller kids to play during the colder months.
