Recommendation for pool heater.

I have a 37x18x26 L shaped pool, approximately 27,000 gallons according to the pool store.

I am looking for recommendations for a Electric pool heater, what size is recommended? Any brands to stay away from? Thanks

Hi and welcome to TFP. Majority of people on forum like the big names of Pentair and Hayward for heaters. I have a Pentair but it is natural gas. You can get it with electric. My pool is half the size of yours and I have a 400k BTU. Are you using it strictly to heat the pool or a spa (attached to the pool) or both? You will need to look at the specs real well. They should provide you x Time to raise the temperature x degrees for certain volume of pool. You want to select a heater BTU size that meets your needs to warm up the pool (or spa).
