Recommend me a high-quality pole and net

While I was cleaning some gunk out of my pool last night after a week-long vacation, my net decided to break, so I'm in need of a new one.

The pole I have (both the pole and net were the previous owners' that I inherited) seems cheaply made and doesn't like to stay extended. I also had a toddler try to hang on the end of it last season while my BIL was using it, and bent it a bit so it won't collapse properly. :uhh:

So: I'm tired of cheap junk and want a recommendation for some higher-quality equipment that will last me awhile.

After some quick searching on Amazon, I found this for a net. Is this actually as good as the review are making it out to be? Any recommendations for a heavy-duty long-lasting extendable pole?

After breaking 3 Pentair blue/aluminum poles in 4 years (various lengths), I bought an 8-16’ yellow fiberglass Pentair pole (Rainbow EZ Lock). It’s easily the best & strongest pole I’ve owned. It had better be at nearly 3x the price of the cheap aluminum ones!

I’ve had a couple of those.. I’m done with them though, fiberglass splinter in my palm.

They are a tough pole & I like the bright hard to forget color.

I’m just done with all fiberglass poles...
