We are going to be (hopefully!!) digging our pool soon and we need to figure out a solution for our raised hot tub. We are doing a 20x40 rectangle with an auto cover and a raised 9x7 hot tub. We discussed putting an auto cover on the hot tub but the price quote on that is 15k. We decided it's not worth the cost to do that so we need another solution. The hot tub will be faced with stone so something with anchors that allows us to strap it down would be ideal.

using something like these hooks eye's in the concrete around your raised spa you would be able to connect a cover to them.. These hold 600 pound each.. The you would need a 9 x 7 safety cover with the bungee cords connected at the same spots where you installed the hooks..

I definitely want to have anchors that I can attach the straps to in order to secure the cover. Would I be able to use a standard spa cover? Do they even make them that big?
